During operation, our customer’s dredger had sustained major damage and was in need of repair. The damage resulted in a flooded pumproom and severely affected hydraulics and controls. Muns Techniek was approached to repair and, where needed, revise the hydraulic parts of the system.
The flooded pumproom was cleared of major hydraulic components. These components were transported to our workshop and thoroughly checked and tested. If possible, components were repaired. Components that were not fixable, and components that had to be replaced because of revision of the system, were replaced.
In addition to the repair of the hydraulics, the hydraulic piping has also been replaced at the request of the customer.
The system has been completely repaired and revised and the hydraulics have been restored to good working condition. The steel hydraulic piping has been replaced by stainless steel piping. Muns Techniek has rerouted the piping and moved it from the floor to the walls
